Very New and Need Help.
Hi everyone,
I am sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I only bought GW on Thursday and have a few questions. I bought Factions and so far I am only doing the pve. I am a Ritualist. I have got to level 3 of the quests. But I am stuck on the next one. Also is there some place I read up on what all the different "things" do that I have accquirded. Sorry to be so vague but, this game is very different to what I have ever played from in the past. Thankyou. |

www.guildwiki.org should answer everything.
What do you mean by "level 3 of the quests?" |

The best place for help is GuildWiki
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page < This is the official one but it's still being filled out. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page < This is the old one that has pretty much all you need at the moment. Other than that, maybe join a guild and ask people in there for help. Make sure you tell them you're new to the game before you join, so they don't boot you out later. Most guilds are friendly and open to newcomers. GL! |

welcome to the brotherhood or sisterhood...or just to the game....guildwiki is a great place for info on the game...if you look there and still can't find the answer then post here and peeps will help you. to advance through the "storyline" you will want to do your primary quests....to get exp and such you do the side quests.... Press L on keyboard to see your list of Quests....quests are available from any NPC that has a green exclamation mark over them....
Be sure to use the henchman to help you out when you go exploring or other real players if you can find them. I suggest you don't party with any high lvl players at this time as you NEED to learn to play the game... some other keyboard keys that might help you I = inventory N= friends list P= brings up party window U= brings up a mini map Ctrl C = target nearest monster M = Large Map (or World/Continent Map) Hrm as you learn skills (or buy them from skill trainers) you can place them on your skill bar at any town or outpost ... press K (you can also redistribute any attribute points...at will...in any town) Look for a good guild to join...join and leave as many as you like until you find one that is good for you. Good Luck Coridan |
